By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Corelate contemporary problems faced by society related to their field of knowledge with Islamic aspects.
  • Find and explain verses in the Al-Quran related to their field of knowledge.

In accordance with the vision and mission of the university and department, this course is expected to convey integrated religious education at this university. This course provides students with basic abilities to relate contemporary problems faced by society that are related to their fields of knowledge and with an Islamic perspective. Contemporary issues that will be discussed are describing contemporary issues such as human rights, democracy, environmental tolerance, gender.
