By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate an attitude as a smart and responsible citizen based on Islamic and Indonesian values
  • Having a moderate insight (umatan wasathan) as a citizen in implementing the national insight
  • Identify and reflect on personal roles, and to develop alternative solutions to contemporary national problems

This course aims to develop students’ abilities as citizens in terms of civic knowledge, civic skills, and civic dispositions. Civic knowledge is related to the content or what citizens should know. Civic skills are skills that should be possessed by citizens that include intellectual skills and participation skills, while civic dispositions are related to the private and public character of citizens that need to be maintained and improved.
