MODULE OBJECTIVES/INTENDED LEARNING
On successful completion of the course students should be able to:
- Apply the principles of honesty and integrity as part of scientific writing ethics
- Apply the rules of effective sentences and composing paragraphs in scientific writing
- Apply principles on avoiding plagiarism and effective sentences in writing literature reviews
- Apply principle on avoiding plagiarism and effective sentences in writing research proposals
CONTENT
This course is a compulsory subject aims to develop students’ ability in developing scientific writing with focus on developing literature review, research proposal, as well as research reports. As basic skills for developing those scientific writings, in this course the students will also learn how to compose effective sentences, paraphrasing cited information as well as writing up appropriate citation.
