MODULE OBJECTIVES/INTENDED LEARNING
Students are able to explain:
- The results of group discussion in topics related to the development of biotechnology and apply discipline in attending lectures
- DNA recombination techniques
- The technology related to therapeutic protein production and its regulation
- The isolation and amplification of genetic material and hybridization techniques
- The mechanism of action of drugs that have action targets on DNA and RNA
CONTENT
This course aims to introduce students to the main themes of the application of biomedical science in the pharmaceutical sciences and to understanding of the basic theoretical approaches and concepts of of biotechnology related in pharmaceutical industry including its technique and development.
