By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Students will be able to assess and evaluate a pharmacotherapy from the patient with cardiovascular disorder and renal disorder

The course will cover the pathophysiology, therapeutic management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) and pharmacy practice issues in the management of patients with a range of disorders including:

  • Acute coronary syndrome
  • Arrhythmias
  • Cardiac arrest
  • Dyslipidemia
  • Hearth failure
  • Hypertension
  • Ischemic heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Venous thromboembolism
  • Acute kidney injury
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Acid-based disorder
