By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Understand the process of outpatient drug services self-medicating over-the-counter and limited-free medicines, as well as mandatory pharmacy medicines in accordance with the concept of pharmaceutical care
  • Explain the service of prescription drugs (admission, screening, preparation,and administration) of prescription drugs in accordance with the concept of pharmaceutical care
  • Describe the preparation of non sterile drugs (calculation, etiquette,and prescription copy)
  • Describe the preparation of sterile drugs ( asepticconcept, reconstitution, dilution, IV admixture

  • Pharmaceutical work according to the law and Competency Standards of Indonesian Pharmacists

  • Self-medicating ( over-the-counter, limited-free, OWA)
  • Prescription drug services
  • Inpatient services, emergency installations, and intensive care units
  • Preparation of non sterile drugs
  • Dosage calculation and dose conversion
  • Etiquette and copy of recipes
  • Preparation of sterile drugs
  • Aseptic concept
  • Reconstitution
  • Dilution
  • Intravenous mixing (IV Admixture)
  • Cytotoxic handling
