By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Students will be able to assess and evaluate a pharmacotherapy from the patient with gastrointestinal disorder, ophthalmic disorder, and respiratory disorder.

The course will cover the pathophysiology, therapeutic management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) and pharmacy practice issues in the management of patients with a range of disorders including:

  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Peptic ulcer disease
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Hepatitis
  • Cirrhosis
  • Rhinitis
  • Asthma
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Glaucoma
