By the end of this course students should be able to:

  1. apply discipline and responsibility in the implementation of the practicum, and uphold the value of honesty in the practicum process
  2. designing and preparing simplicia for the source of medicinal raw materials, conducting analysis, and conducting publications in the form of brochures/posters and presentations of project results that have been carried out
  3. perform organoleptic and microscopic examinations of medicinal ingredients
  4. carry out practicum in accordance with occupational health and safety
  5. carry out positive teamwork (team-work) in carrying out practicum
The course will cover:Anatomy, morphology and physiology of plants, technology and post-harvest processing of simplicia
