Module objectives/intended learning On successful completion of the course students should be able to:

  1. Explain general concepts on CPKB (How to Make Good Cosmetic Preparations)
  2. Explain fundamental concepts on safety regulation in making cosmetic preparations containing active compounds derived from natural products 
  3. Design formula of cosmetic and aromatherapy preparations
Content This course aims to support program learning outcomes of knowledge aspect related to the use of natural ingredients for cosmetic and aromatherapy preparations. The main goal of this course is that students are able to explain the concept of designing cosmetics and aromatherapy formulation containing active compounds from natural ingredients. Topics covered by this course are formulation design and quality evaluation of cosmetics containing natural products ingredients, good manufacturing practices of cosmetics (CPKB),

Safety regulation on cosmetics containing active compounds from natural products.
