By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • On successful completion of the course students will be able to assess and evaluate a pharmacotherapy from the patient with neurologic disorder, joint disorder, and psychiatric disorder.

The course will cover the pathophysiology, therapeutic management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) and pharmacy practice issues in the management of patients with a range of disorders including:

  • Pain management
  • Epilepsy
  • Headache
  • Gout
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Schizophrenia
