MODULE OBJECTIVES/INTENDED LEARNING
By the end of this course students should be able to:
- Understand theory and concepts on sterile preparations and various kinds of sterile preparations.
- Comprehend the concept of research and development of sterile preparations.
- Describe the formulation and evaluation of sterile preparations.
- Comprehend the manufacture of sterile preparations, vaccines and water in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Identify the degree of water quality in sterile preparations
CONTENT
This course aims to support program learning outcomes in the form of the ability to make sterile preparations, including research and development of preparations, to be professional and ethical and to have knowledge of basic concepts and various kinds of sterile preparations. In this course, students will receive material formulation and evaluation of sterile preparations, manufacturing of sterile preparations, vaccines and water in the pharmaceutical industry, sterilization technology and aseptic techniques.
