MODULE OBJECTIVES/INTENDED LEARNING
By the end of this course students should be able to:
- Apply a professional attitude to complete laboratory practices and present the results of experiments that have been carried out.
- Dig up information on Indonesian Pharmacopoeia compendia as well as other standards / guidelines for the analysis of raw materials and medicinal products, food and cosmetics.
- Evaluate test data based on applicable guidelines and validate the analytical method of determining analyte levels.
- Apply occupational safety and health techniques while working in the laboratory.
- Analyze raw materials and medicinal products, food, cosmetics using gravimetric, titrimetric, and UV / vis spectrophotometric methods.
CONTENT
The course will cover:
Safety and health in the laboratory, gravimetric analysis methods, titrimetry, uv/vis spectrophotometry, validation of analytical methods, data processing of test results.
