By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Apply responsibility and discipline in carrying out the practice.
  • Carry out occupational safety and health techniques in the laboratory.
  • Analyze compounds using spectroscopy and chromatography methods.
  • Analyze and evaluate data based on applicable guidelines

The course will cover: 
Safety and health in the laboratory, analytical methods of atomic absorption spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, gas and liquid chromatography, analytical derivative techniques, validation of bioanalytical methods.
